By now you guys know my unending love for eyeshadows and nail paints. Today I am going to review this beautiful palette from Wet and Wild. This range consists of three variants and I picked up two of them. ‘Rose in the Air‘ is already reviewed on IMBB, so I will be sharing my views about the other variant – Nude Awakening. Hope you guys find this helpful.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow 10 Pan Palette Nude Awakening:
The eyeshadows come in a black case which has a transparent lid and the name of the brand is written at the bottom right corner of the lid. At the back of the case, the name of the shade, ingredients list along with how to use the product is mentioned. How to create day and night look is shown, which is helpful for beginners who have just started with eyeshadows. There is no mirror nor any applicator with the packaging. The packaging is sleek, sweet and simple.
Each shade is numbered (from 1-10):
Shade 1: This one is a light brown n*de shade and appears very natural on the lids. This is one of the transition shades having a matte finish. This has very powdery consistency, therefore, has fallout.
Shade 2: This one is off-white cream matte shade and works great as a base shade.
Shade 3: Light beige shade having a satin finish.
Shade 4: Cream shade having a shimmery finish and consists of silver glitter. I found this shade to be a bit patchy and rough. This one is less buttery than other shades.
Shade 5: Pretty rose gold shade with a shimmery finish.
Shade 6: Beautiful shimmery bronze-gold shade and feels so smooth.
Shade 7: Deep plum shade and just like shade 4 feels a bit rough and has a matte finish. It needs much effort to show its pigment on the lids.
Shade 8: Beautiful taupe shade having a satin finish my most favourite shade from the palette and feels soo buttery.
Shade 9: It’s a classic matte black shade.
Shade 10: Another creamy ashy grey-dark brown transition shade.
Coming to the staying power, it lasts well for almost 5-6 hours on my oily lids. After it starts fading but does not crease at all. Except shade 4 and 7 all the eyeshadows feel so creamy and can be easily applied on the lids. Using a primer will increase the staying power of these shadows.
Overall, I am in love with this palette. It is great for everyday wear and the darker shades can be used for night time look. It’s a must-have palette in every beginner’s makeup kit as the colours are easy to play with.

Cons of Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow 10 Pan Palette Nude Awakening:
• Transition shade has fall out issue and is very powdery
• Shades 4 and 7 feel a bit rough
• No applicator provided
• No mirror in the palette

Definitely, it’s a great palette and affordable as well. I would recommend it to all you guys, especially to beginners. You will not regret buying it.
