My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Single Moonchild:
This eyeshadow comes in a very cute, small, black container with a clear lid that makes it easy to identify the shadow from your stash. It is a small, lightweight and travel-friendly packaging. Also, it is super affordable too.
“Moonchild” is a beautiful blue shade with a base of purple tone and it actually looks like a blue shadow that has finely melted shimmer particles. It looks bold and perfect to define eyes. Such a color is perfect for all skin tones. It is well pigmented and comes perfectly on to the lids. This eyeshadow has a soft, smooth texture that blends so well on the lid and it gives a beautiful, smooth, and shiny finish.
The formula works nicely and it blends easily with shadows of different formulations. I love its soft texture and it gives that perfect sheen to my eyes. It never feels patchy or powdery. It is a lightweight shadow that never makes my lids dry.
These shadows from Wet n Wild are perfect for beginners who do not want to invest a lot of money on a single product but then want good quality products in their stash as well. There is a slight fallout during application, otherwise, considering the price, the formula of this shadow is really nice.
I have oily lids and always prefer to use a primer underneath this shadow to make it a long-lasting product; also primer helps to increase the color intensity as well. With primer, it lasts around 5-6 hours perfectly without any mess. After that, the color slightly looks faded from the corners. The shimmers get easily removed from the lids. They don’t crease or settle into fine lines.
Overall, it’s a well-formulated shadow that gives a beautiful, smooth, and shiny finish on the eyes and I love this shadow because it has beautiful pigmentation and looks gorgeous on the eyes.
