My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Lipliner Chestnut:

This lip liner comes in brown colored packaging with a clear cap. I like this color-coded pencil and it is totally travel-friendly. It is actually a wooden pencil that needs to be sharpened but it doesn’t come with any sharpener. The quality is nice and sturdy and it doesn’t require frequent sharpening. Also, this pencil is quite long and will last me a long time.

‘Chestnut’ is a very beautiful nutty brown shade and it looks natural on the lips. I love brown shades and this one is a gorgeous brown shade that’s perfect for winters; it goes well with most makeup looks. It neither looks too bold nor too pale, hence has the perfect balance. It doesn’t have any shimmer either. This shade is well pigmented and I need just two swipes for that perfect color payoff. It can hide lip pigmentation too.

It has a soft, smooth texture that glides well on the lips and provides an even application. I can easily draw my lips and it defines the lines perfectly, thanks to its smooth strokes. The lip liner has a perfect matte finish that looks beautiful. It also feels lightweight on the lips and the shade blends easily with the other lip shades.

The formula isn’t hydrating enough for dry lips. My lips tend to become quite dry during winters and this lip liner makes them drier. If you have dry, cracked lips, then you must use a lip balm underneath. Otherwise, it works well and the color doesn’t transfer or smudge; it is totally waterproof as well.

It stays in its place perfectly for a long time. It stays for around 7 hours on my lips. It can survive a meal but fades from the center of my lips after an oily meal. It is quite easy to remove. It doesn’t settle into the fine lines or creases.

Overall, it’s a perfect, long-lasting, smudgeproof and transfer proof lip liner. The shade is really nice for this winter season. This is an amazing deal and totally worth a buy for this price.
