Hope you all are doing great. I am counting days for our bundle of joy to come into our life. I am very excited and little scared too, but I believe that I will be able to manage everything well.

Coming to today’s product, before IMBB, I was a girl with two left hands when it came to eyeliner application. And, then IMBB changed my life and you can spot various eye-liners on my dresser. So, this particular eye pencil Wet n Wild Color Icon in Olive was part of my recent Wet n Wild haul.

I had read good things about these pencils and so I actually bought 2 pencils from this range, but my friend misplaced one while bring these to India from USA. However, he has promised me that he will get me one more pencil when he goes to the states again, till then I am enjoying this beauty only.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Olive Eyeliner Pencil:

I always wanted to add one olive green eye pencil in my collection and this beautiful olive green shade fit my bill perfectly. This is a dark olive green with golden and green micro shimmers in it. I love the fact that it’s green, yet not so green that I cannot wear it to work. I work in a reputed R&D company and girls here mostly come without makeup.

Till now, I was only comfortable wearing bronze or brown eye liner other then black to work. But, this shade is so pretty and unique that it gives only a hint of green to my eyes without appearing too colourful or loud for work.

It has creamy texture and the pencil glides on my eyelids without any tugging or pulling. It is well pigmented so 1 or maximum 2 strokes are sufficient for one application. Talking of staying power, it’s not a long lasting formula. It stays for 4-5 hours only on my oily eyelids, but if I use eye shadow primer underneath, then it stays for 6-8 hours.

It is not smudge proof, so if you accidently rub your eyes, be ready to have shimmer and the color all over your eyelids. It is a wooden pencil which is easy to sharp with any good sharpener. It is also quite taller than most of the other eye pencils available in market.

Overall, I love this shade and the texture of this pencil. This is a perfect olive green shade for girls who want some color and shimmer on their eyelid without looking too loud. For the price I paid for this, it is a complete winner for me.
