Wet n Wild Color Icon Shadow – Nutty Review

Wet n Wild eyeshadows are the best. The singles and the palettes. I ignored this drug store brand for a long time, but in my opinion, if there are any drug store shadows you should stock on, I would say, its Wet n Wild.   kid you not! Also, ever  since I found out that there’s a dupe for the famous “MAC Satin Taupe,”  I knew I had to get this and not pinch another hole in my pocket! For around $3, these are the best!!!

The # 252B Nutty is a gorgeous champagne taupe with a shimmery, almost metallic finish. It’s so pretty and gives the eyelids a gorgeous shimmer.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Shadow – Nutty:

Honestly, I only got this because of the dupe factor. It’s like a frosty taupey brown. Whereas, Satin Taupe is described as “taupe with silver shimmer (frost finish),” but honestly, dupe or not, I’m liking this so much! The pigmentation is super awesome and I only need to tap my brush lightly to get a nice color on my lids.  I apply it as a wash all-over on my lids and I also use it as a transition color when I’m doing my smokey eyes 🙂  Honestly, I want more of the taupe shades, they are just so multi-purpose. Also, they go with everything.

Pros of Wet n Wild Color Icon Shadow – Nutty:

• Its stinking cheap, that’s a big yay!
• Awesome pigmentation.
• Its super buttery to apply.
• Also, it doesn’t loosen up or crumble when I wiggle my brush.
• The staying power is good too.  With a primer, it lasted a good 6+ hours for me.
• I tried using it on my brows once, it totally worked. 😀

Cons of Wet n Wild Color Icon Shadow – Nutty:

• Packaging, very cheap plastic and the clasp was really cumbersome 🙁
• I am not sure if it’s available in India.

Verdict:

>Girls, do try the Wet n Wild shadows. Honestly, they are much better than some of the regular brands we try.
