Today, I am here to review a budget-friendly eyeshadow from the Wet n Wild Color Icon Single eyeshadow range– 251A Brulee/Creme Brulee. It is a very close dupe for MAC’s very famous eyeshadow in the shade Brulee.
Color Icon Eyeshadow Single. High-pigmentation and pearl-density create a unique, satiny texture that lasts and lasts. A versatile collection of classic and trend shades can be easily worn alone or playfully combined for a variety of looks.
Matte nude color.
My Experience with Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow – Brulee:
I am not much of an eyeshadow person, but I definitely love my neutrals for occasional wear to work or some specials days when I would want to spend a little extra time to get ready and look presentable. I love the highlighted look on the brows that not only defines them but gives a neater and nicer shape. I can get away with a shimmery highlight shade for a nighttime party, but I always reach out to matte shades for work. I was about to buy MAC’s Brulee but decided to try the much-hyped budget-friendly eyeshadows from Wet n Wild.
I picked two shades – Nutty and Brulee. I must admit that I am deeply in love with both the shades. Why splurge more money when you get an amazing and comparable quality eyeshadow at drugstore for much lesser price? 😉
Brulee is a matte nude shade with absolutely no shimmer. It can be used as a brow highlighter or lightly dust it all over the lid to neutralize any pigmentation on the eyelids. As I said before, It is a close dupe to MAC’s Brulee.
Very soft, creamy and buttery finish that gives a satin texture on the lids.
This product is easy to blend without looking powdery.
Highly pigmented, gives a decent color payoff in a single application.
Decent staying power without a primer, but I would definitely recommend to use a primer for longevity when used on eyelid.
Doesn’t crease when used with a primer.
Up to 8 hours with primer.
It is packaged in a plastic 2*2 container.
Pros of Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow – Brulee:
- Easy to travel with.
- Awesome pigmentation and color payoff.
- Decent staying power.
- Matte brow bone shade.
- Very creamy, buttery soft shadow.
- Close match to MAC’s Brulee.
- Amazing quality for the price.
- Nice range of colors to choose from and most of the colors are close dupes to MAC’s eyeshadows.
- Quality, pigmentation and staying power of the product is very comparable to very famous high-end eyeshadows.
Cons of Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow – Brulee:
- Clumsy and cheap packaging (cannot ask for more considering the price of the product).
- Not available in other counties.
I will definitely recommend this product to anyone for the amazing pigmentation, color payoff, buttery smooth consistency and dead cheap price. This product definitely performs on par with other high-end eyeshadow brands like Urban Decay, MAC, etc. I will repurchase this if I ever run out of it.
