Wet n Wild Colour Icon Glitter Single Distortion Review

Today’s product is a crème glitter eye shadow from Wet n Wild Beauty. I am not an eye shadow person and never a glitter one, but these were just random and blind picks, and I completely regret my decision. Let’s read about Wet N Wild Colour Icon Glitter Eye Shadow in shade Distortion.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Colour Icon Glitter Single Distortion:

Wet n Wild Colour Icon Glitter Eyeshadow Range

Starting with the packaging, Wet N Wild Colour Icon Glitter Eye Shadow comes in a small and sleek black compact with a transparent lid. Not only the packaging is really sturdy and travel safe, it is also sealed from three sides. However, removing the seal is kind of torture and the pan opens with a bit of effort, and I injured my nail while doing so. The packaging is the only nice thing about Wet N Wild Colour Icon Glitter Eye Shadow.

Moving on to the formula, it is extremely creamy, but a weird sort of creamy because it feels oily due to the presence of soya bean oil and wax in ingredients. The texture is a total failure because the eye shadow is extremely slippery. It has a coarse texture because the glitter is chunky and the formula is thick and quite sticky. Also, Wet N Wild Colour Icon Glitter Eye Shadow starts melting when applied and also in the pan when exposed to hot weather. The most confusing part is that on the back of the eye shadow pan, it is written that it is suitable for face and body only.

I wonder what they mean by face because when this eye shadow glitter is applied on the eyes, it starts to slip in a couple of minutes. And, the coarse chunks start to sting your eyes and cause tears. I think this is formulated as body glitter and they are promoting it wrong way for sales. It has no smell, but the formula is completely trash. I tried using these for some DIY, still I couldn’t make any use of Wet N Wild Colour Icon Glitter Eye Shadows.

Glitter eyeshadow ingredients

Wet N Wild Colour Icon Glitter Eye Shadow Distortion is a lovely dark blue shade with silver sparkle chunks. It has decent pigmentation but you need a generous swatch for blue colour to take lead over the transparent cream and glitter. It is not safe for eye area application and longevity is merely half an hour. These glitter eyeshadows are very messy to remove and waste a lot of makeup remover.
