My Experience with Wet n Wild Colour Icon Vices Glitter Single:

Starting with the packaging, Wet n Wild Colour Icon Vices Glitter Single comes in small, black, sleek compact with pan inside and has a clear cover. The bottom of the packaging carries the ingredient list. The packaging is really sturdy, travel safe and was sealed from three sides initially. However, removing the seal stickers is a bit difficult and also the clear cover opens with some effort. I injured my nail while doing so. In a nutshell, packaging is the only bright side of Wet n Wild Colour Icon Vices Glitter Single.

Talking about the formula, it is extremely creamy but feels oily and very slick due to the presence of soya bean oil and wax; now, who uses soya bean oil in makeup! The texture is a total disaster because it is extremely greasy. It has abrasive texture because the glitter is chunky, coarse and the formula is thick and sticky. Also, it starts melting when exposed to hot weather.

The most perplexing part is that on the back of the pan, it is written that it is suitable for face and body only. I wonder what they mean by face because when this is applied on eyes, the glitter slips in a couple of minutes and the harsh glitters start getting into eyes, causing irritation. I think this is formulated to be used as a body glitter. It has no smell though but the formula is rubbish. I tried using them for some DIY, still I couldn’t make any use of Wet n Wild Colour Icon Vices Glitter Single. They are going straight to the dustbin. I wonder what the brand was thinking while manufacturing them!

Wet n Wild Colour Icon Vices Glitter Single is a dark, blue toned, sparkly red. It has intense pigmentation but you need a generous swatch to get the product on fingers or tools. It is not safe for the eye zone and lasting power is merely half an hour. They give a tough time while removing; even a lot of makeup remover can’t get you completely glitter-free. Summing up pros and cons,

Pros of Wet n Wild Colour Icon Vices Glitter Single:

• Deep, blue toned sparkly red.
• Sturdy packaging.
• Intensely pigmented.

  1. sometimes glitters like these benefit from using a tacky base/ glitter glue before hand. But yeah something which can potentially irritate the eye is a no-no

    1. Agreed neha, but the issue is that glitter particles are abrasive and pretty coarse. Atleast they could have shaped then so they aren’t pointed and rough
