My Experience with Wet n Wild On Edge Creme Eyeliner Carbon My Reach:
The cream eyeliner along with a brush come in a sealed transparent packaging. It has a cardboard product label, outlining product information. You remove the plastic and get the pot of black liner and brush. The pot is small and travel friendly with a screw-on lid. The brush is small, sleek and handy. No complaints with this fuss-free packaging.
The tiny tub contains the creamy liner. I like how the texture is creamy, yet not very thick, aiding in easy application. With just a little pressure, you can pick up the product from the pot. It is easy to apply, and the nice consistency makes sure it glides on the delicate eye area. The color is a deep black, not the jet glossy black. It sets to a comfortable matte finish. There is not tugging or pulling while applying.
The brush is good for drawing thin (if you are good at using cream liners) and thick strokes. I am not an expert; hence I am yet to draw precise wings with it. I find that using an angled brush with this works better in order to get clear lines. Nonetheless, I can get bold defined lined eyes with this liner. I have also used it for tightlining and lower lash line, and faced no difficulties or irritation.
It is a smudge-proof and waterproof formula. I tried removing it with water only, and rubbed a lot – some of it came off with difficulty. Using a good quality coconut or almond oil makes more sense, as it dissolves the liner much better. This liner stays put for close to 8-9 hours, with no budging or smudging! Great staying power indeed. It slightly fades after a few hours, but still looks good.
Overall, it’s a great product at a bargain price. At close to 5 dollars, this cream liner will surely will be a welcome addition to your makeup kit.
