Wet n Wild Fergie On Edge Longwearing Eye Pencil Ex-Stacey Review

Hello IMBB friends,

I won’t even ask how the summer is at your place. For me, it is already making me sick.  So, I decided to go vibrant with my makeup. When I first started with experimenting with makeup, me and my room mate bought pink eyeliners to make a statement and after being labelled what-nots, everyone else in my class had a pink eyeliner 😛 When I saw these pencils, it reminded me of that time, so I picked it up quickly.

My Take on Wet n Wild Fergie On Edge Longwearing Eye Pencil Ex-Stacey:

Ex-Stacey is a bright fuchsia metallic.  These “on edge” liners come in around 6 shades to choose from.  They have white, black, brown, green, fuchsia pink, purple, and blue.  This particular shade caught my eye because it appears semi metallic. I thought it was a lovely fun color for the summer. It is sized perfect and does require sharpening, which I’m totally okay with.  The pigmentation is really great and one can see a good color pay-off with just one swipe. I swatched all the colors in the store and they range from satin to matte to metallic.  The brown one might come with me next time 😉

The pencil is really soft and smooth to apply and really creamy and has almost a butter like feel to it, but that means it will break easily even with the slightest pressure. I could apply it on my lids without any tugging or pulling. It blends easily in the first few seconds after which it sets beautifully and stays the entire day. If you wear a primer underneath, it will last you a long time. On my oily lids, it was there for 5-6 hours.  But for some reason, it does not appear as nice on my waterline. It does not stay at all. I tried to layer it to show some color, but sadly no. Also, you need to be really careful with pink eyeliners.

They sometimes appear as if someone punched you in the eye 😛 I layer it with my black eyeliner and it gives a lovely pop of color especially with neutrals or whites. On some days when I don’t want to bother with a ton of makeup, I use this to look set! Honestly for the cost, Wet n Wild products are a steal.  I also wanted to get some of their lipsticks but well, next time!
