Wet n Wild Glassy Gloss Lip Gel 3, 2, 1 Glass- t Off! Review

Today, I am going to review a gloss from Wet n Wild. I love using glosses. Since school time till college time, I never ran out of glosses. I used to have heaps of glosses, some shimmery, some transparent, some just with a tint of colour. When I am not in the mood for wearing lippies, I just use gloss either straight on the lips or with some nude lippies. While surfing on the internet, I came across this product and ordered from a website.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Glassy Gloss Lip Gel 3,2,1 Glass- t Off:

While buying this online, I was so confused by the name of this gloss. but Thank God there was a description of the shade, it is a semi-sheer cherry red. I liked the word cherry red and without focusing on semi-sheer, I ordered this one. Shade of the gloss is true to its description. It is a semi-sheer cherry red gloss with the tiniest shimmer particles in the same colour. It smells fruity but the smell fades away within a few minutes after application. When I opened the cap, gloss squeezes out of the tube without squeezing; so much so that sometimes I have to keep a tissue handy to wipe off the excess. It gives a transparent glossy look on lips with very minor hint of red colour.

If you have pigmented lips, then it may not show on bare lips. But on pink lips, it adds a beautiful glow. That is why, I love this product. But with 2-3 swipes, you get a semi sheer cherry red colour on your lips. It is a light-weight gloss. It does not give a heavy or sticky feeling on the lips. It gives a good pout appearance to lips.

However, staying power is not good. Color stays only for an hour or two maximum, after that it fades away and only a glossy effect is left on the lips. It does not transfer or bleed on the lips. Sometimes I use it over the n*de lippies and wipe off the lips lightly with a tissue and it looks fabulous ! It does not dry out the lips, after 4-5 hours, the gloss is not there on the lips but feel of the moisture is there, I could really notice this thing that even after the gloss completely fades away it has a moisture seal on the lips which prevents lips from drying. Some of the Wet n wild products are really awesome compared to the price at which they are sold. I really like the formula of the gloss, neither very thick nor gooey, thick enough that it doesn’t bleed.

• Does not bleed
• Leaves a beautiful tint of colour
• Does not feel heavy on lips
• Gives a good pout effect to lips
• Definitely moisturizes the lips
• Smell fades away within few minutes.

Cons of Wet n Wild Glassy Gloss Lip Gel 3,2,1 Glass- t Off:

• It has shimmer, some may not like it.
• Staying power is not more than 2 hours.
• Excess product comes out while opening, this leads to wastage.
• Not easily available.

Yes, but I will try other shades.
