I was kind of done with Wet n Wild eye shadows, but the ones from Fergie Centre Stage Collection are so appealing that I had to get one more and after the shade Desert Festival, I like this one the most! These palettes are not very expensive, they have wide range of colors and look pretty on all type of skin tones. Keep reading to know more about it.
When you’ve always got a camera pointed at you, every side has to be your best side! This palette of intensely-pigmented shadows comes in a range of textures from translucent highlights to subtle mattes to shimmering glitters – all of which the camera loves. Its satiny-smooth formula is nylon-treated and jet-milled for ultra-pigmented, crease-resistant color that lasts all day. Be one of the glamorous, ooh, flossy!
My Experience with Wet n Wild Maldives Sky Fergie Centre Stage Collection Photo Focus Eyeshadow:
This palette has a very appropriate name – Maldives Sky. It has all those colors which one sees in a clear sky, near the beaches. This palette has vibrant colors which can not be worn every day, but if worn with appropriate color coordinated dress, would look very pretty and enhance the overall beauty. Also, it amazes me how shades from different color regions are set in one palette and look so vibrant and eye catchy.
Packaging: Each color is placed in a small separate section and the center color has artistically embossed the letter F over it, which of course represents Fergie! The pan has a see through cover and compared to other Wet n Wild eye shadows, this one has more sturdy and fancy packaging.
Texture: It is a powder eye shadow set in cake form, but the shadows are very smooth and easy to apply. Even the shade with mild shimmer is smooth and does not feel gritty.
Colors: The colors in this palette are pale green, matte lavender, dull grey, indigo and matte bottle green.
Pigmentation: Very good pigmentation! I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadows to take a picture and was delightfully amazed to see the color my finger tips picked up. Two swipes are enough to get an intense look.
Wear Time: The shadows stay on eyelids for 5-6 hours after which they start to crease. One can be increase the wear time by using a primer or a white eyeshadow underneath these shadows.
Conclusion: This is a very good product for the money paid. Each palette offers varying range of shades which are sufficient to complete the look. The shade range in particular is a very versatile and all the shades look beautiful on any skin tone. Cool tones in particular go well with funky or a night looks.
