We have already seen cushion foundations from L’Oréal and Maybelline, but Wet n Wild took the cushion concept to another level. They introduced cushion highlighter, contour, colour corrector and cushion lipsticks. I bought the cushion highlighter Who’s that Pearl to try. So, let’s see how the product fared for me.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Mega Cushion Highlight Who’s That Pearl:
Packaging: The packaging of “Who’s that Pearl” highlighter is very cute and compact. The highlighter comes in a round black box. The top cap has a graphic design of a beautiful girl with the writing – Wet n Wild Mega Cushion Highlight. The back specifies the name and the ingredient list. Once you open the cap, you will find a black small sponge applicator. The liquid highlighter is soaked in the cushion. Overall, the packaging is travel friendly and easy to apply on the go.
Texture and Application: The liquid highlighter is highly concentrated in the cushion. Avoid pressing the applicator heavily on the cushion. The application can be easily achieved with the sponge applicator. However, I feel the sponge applicator spreads the product unevenly on the face. A flat brush or even fingertips will provide good coverage. Even though the highlight is in liquid form, it is easily buildable. To set the highlighter, you can use a powder highlighter if required. This method gives a more intense look and allows the highlighter to stick to your skin and allows it stay for a longer period of time.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The highlighter is super pigmented. You do not have to build it up to get a full opacity. If your goal is to get a natural glow then go easy on the application. You can easily achieve the day look and a night look with this highlighter.
Shade and Finish: The shade of the highlighter is pearly white as the name describes. It is not too shimmery or glittery. There is no duo chrome effect. It has a super lightweight and blendable formula that imparts a smooth effect and feels like nothing on the skin. This highlighter did not emphasise any pores or fine lines on my skin.
The highlighter can be used on tops of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and corner of the eyes to give a naturally luminous skin. This shade of highlighter will suit light to medium skin tones.
Staying Power: The staying power is good. It stays on for around 4 to 5 hour without the need to reapply.
