One of the popular drugstore brands of US – Wet n Wild. They have a wide range of products and very affordable. And, not all products are as good though. Here’s the review of Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in the shade E576A Rose Gold.

My Experience with Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss Rose Gold:
I have a couple of Wet n Wild products already and though I like a few of them, I also dislike the rest. I cannot complain as much since they are very cheap and comparatively, the quality is not as bad. I purchased this lip gloss online as the name of this shade “Rose Gold” tempted me.
It has a sleek and sturdy packaging which makes it travel-friendly! The gray/silver plastic cap closes tightly. The name of the shade is printed on a sticker at the bottom. These stickers come off easily with time.
The lipstick texture is like that of a regular lip gloss. The gloss glides effortlessly on the lips. One swipe gives a sheer layer but multiple swipes don’t really intensify the color as such. The lip gloss feels moisturizing on the lips and comfortable to wear. The lip gloss has a shimmer/glossy sheen which is neither subtle nor over the top. It is just the right amount of glossy, be it for a day look or a party look.
The shade “Rose Gold” is a very sheer brownish-pink shade. When I apply this gloss directly on my lips, it doesn’t suit my medium skin tone. Since it has very less or almost no color, it doesn’t cover even tiny bit of the pigmentation of my lips. It rather appears as a glossy shimmer. The name of the shade is quite misleading since I could neither see any trace of “rose” nor “gold” in it. It is rather a light brown/nudish shade. That really disappointed me!
It stays put for just about 1 to 2 hours, after which it needs a re-application. Hence, it goes without saying that it does not survive meals as such.
Since this shade gives very sheer coverage, it’s better to use it on top of a matte lipstick. To use it stand alone/directly on the lips, it would only suit fair skin tones or on those who have naturally pink lips.
If you want to pick up a very cheap lip gloss of decent quality, then you can try this one!

Not really. In fact, I am planning to use this one as a glossy eye shadow. 😉
