My Experience with Wet n Wild Megaslim Skinny Mascara:

The skinny mascara is true to its name and comes in a slender, black tube packed neatly in a cardboard case. The back of the cardboard cover has product details written. The mascara is cute, super easy to stuff in your pockets too and is definitely travel friendly.

The skinny mascara is specially designed to coat single lashes. Does it do that? Well, details coming later. The wand is slim and smaller than regular wands, however, it isn’t very flexible. So while it coats the lashes, it doesn’t curl them. The mascara color is a dull black, not the intense jet black I love. This color is more suited if you want completely natural look, without exaggeration or drama.

The mascara is good, but didn’t blow me over. Firstly, it just defines my lashes and gives a “wide-awake” look. It separates my lashes, and you can feel the lashes coated individually, but still they don’t stand out. The formula and texture is on the dry side, so lashes might feel a little crisp, but nothing major. It is helpful for coating the lower lashes without messing up eye makeup, as the wand enables precise control.

It doesn’t irritate eyes or cause stinging. It is smudge-proof and stays for a decent time, say almost 5-6 hours, before it looks flat. However, since the eyelash curls are not prominent, you will not see much difference. It is not waterproof, but water-resistant. So your mascara won’t come off with rain or tears easily. It can be removed easily with micellar water or cleansing wipe.

This is a mascara I wear to work every day, as it doesn’t give me the made up appearance and gives a more “awake” look. My lower lashes look neat and defined, however, I won’t reach for this for parties or more informal settings, as it doesn’t really add the ‘oomph factor’.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Wet n Wild Megaslim Skinny Mascara?
I am not blown away by it, but it does give pretty lashes, especially the lower lashes. I will use it and recommend it as it is cheap, but won’t repurchase it.
