Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector Green Review

Skin Tone: Light to Medium with warm undertones
Skin Type: Combination

Hi everyone,

I always wanted to try colour correctors. However, I didn’t want to shell out a lot of money on them since I didn’t know if I really needed them in my makeup regime. Wet n Wild is one of my favourite drugstore brands. They recently released liquid colour correctors. They already have cushion colour corrector in their range. Today, I will be reviewing Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector in the shade ‘Green’. So let’s see how this green colour corrector fared for me.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector Green:

The packaging of the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector in the shade Green comes in a standard plastic tube. The name Wet n Wild is mentioned on the side of the tube. The bottom of the tube specifies the name ‘Green’. The tube has a black cap. The applicator is a standard doe foot. Overall, the packaging is very sleek, lightweight and travel-friendly. You can easily carry it in your purse.

The ‘Green’ colour corrector has a very thin and liquid texture to it. The colour corrector applies easily on the skin and spreads evenly. The doe foot applicator makes it easy to apply the corrector at an exact place. The corrector spreads easily and blends like a dream. You don’t need to use a lot of product, a couple of swipe is all it takes. The colour corrector blends easily with a brush or a finger.

The product is very lightweight. The ‘Green’ colour corrector combats the redness. I have a lot of redness caused by pimples and blemishes. I cover the redness with this green colour corrector. The product has a buildable coverage. It can be layered easily. However, if you layer too much, then the product creases.

I normally follow it up with the concealer and it covers most of my redness and blemishes easily. The staying power is not that great with this colour corrector. It stays on for around 4 hours, after which I can see the redness peeking through. Overall, I am really enjoying the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector Green.

Pros of Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector Green:

Lightweight, thin and buildable texture
Easily covers the redness caused by acne
Layers very well under the concealer
Blends easily
Extremely comfortable
Affordable

Cons of Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector Green:

Not very long lasting
The colour corrector creases if you layer it
