Skin Tone: Light to Medium with warm undertones
Skin Type: Combination
I had always wanted to try color correctors; however, didn’t want to shell out a lot of money on them since I didn’t know if I really needed them in my makeup routine. Wet n Wild Beauty is one of my favourite drugstore brands. They always provide good quality products at affordable prices. They recently released a range of liquid color correctors. They already have a cushion colour corrector in their range. Today, I will be reviewing Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector in “Lavender.” You can read the review of the shade “Green” here.
This liquid formula is lightweight and blends easily, providing the perfect coverage for trouble areas. Don’t just cover imperfections, correct them! Available in four colour correcting shades: Green neutralizes redness; yellow neutralizes dullness; peach neutralizes dark circles; and purple neutralizes yellow. Blend into trouble areas and cover with foundation to create the perfect canvas. Lavender neutralizes redness; yellow neutralizes dullness; peach neutralizes dark circles; and purple neutralizes yellow.
My Experience with Wet n Wild Photo Focus Color Corrector Lavender:
This color corrector comes in a standard plastic tube. The name Wet n Wild is mentioned on the side of the tube. The bottom of the tube specifies the shade name “Lavender.” The tube has a black cap. The applicator is a standard doe-foot type. Overall, the packaging is very sleek, lightweight, and travel friendly. You can easily carry it in your purse.
This product has a very thin and liquid texture to it. It applies easily on the skin and spreads evenly. The doe-foot applicator makes it easy to apply the corrector at target areas. The corrector spreads easily and blends like a dream. You don’t need to use lot of product, a couple of swipe is all it takes. It blends easily with a brush or a finger. It is very lightweight.
“Lavender” is apt to eliminate any unwanted yellow undertones on the skin. When you use the lavender colour corrector, it imparts a beautiful glow to the face. I normally use it on my cheeks to get a healthy glow.
This product has a buildable coverage. It can be layered easily. However if you layer too much, then the product creases. I normally follow it up with the foundation and it covers lavender colour corrector and reduces the yellowness on my skin.
The staying power is also great, lasts for around 6 hours. Overall, I am really enjoying this Wet n Wild Lavender Color Corrector.
