A couple of days ago I wrote a review of recently launched Wet n Wild lipsticks- Silk Finish and some shades have new names but some old shades are name sakes of new ones and I am about to review one such shade.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick – Cerise Glacee (539A):
First thing first, let me state the obvious – yes, indeed price of the product is a major incentive and an impetus as to why one would buy this product but it is more than just a cheap bundle of joy.
Packaging: Not very nice or sturdy, also I absolutely despise when little stub of lipstick juts out because a lot of product gets stuck to the cap and ends up looking tacky. Cap is very fragile and should be handled carefully since it is prone to cracks.
Texture: it is very creamy and buttery, which is a rarity in lower end drug store lipsticks. It glides on easily but should not be used on extra dry lips.
Color: in the tube it appears as vermillion red shade but is more of deep cherry with warm undertones.
Pigmentation: very pigmented with good color pay off. One sweep gives a brilliant shade of cherry and is enough to cover my pigmented lips.
Shimmer and shine: it has a shiny finish and contains golden shimmer particles which make this product exclusive for night out or traditional parties.
Fragrance: the product has no fragrance what so ever which works well for me.
Wear time: easily 5 to 6 hours and one requires a good make up remover to remove it because it stains lips a lot, also it contains shimmer particles which are a little stubborn to remove.
Conclusion: This shade is very glamorous and once applied gives a dolled up appearance. I guess, it will look very pretty with traditional Indian wear with gold ornaments or a dress with a golden theme.

- Very pocket friendly.
- This shade will look pretty on all skin tones.
- Has gold shimmer particles which makes it ideal for traditional parties.
- No fragrance.
- Very creamy and easy to apply.
- 20 shades to choose from.
Cons of Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick – Cerise Glacee (539A):
- Stains lips a lot.
- Fragile packaging.
Would I repurchase Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick – Cerise Glacee (539A)?
Not this very shade but there is no harm in trying out other shades from the same range because they offer variety and are easy on pockets.
