My Experience with Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Shang Hi Plum

This lipstick comes in a common silver/gray tube which has a clear cap, just like all the “Silk Finish” collection lipsticks. This lipstick is called “Shang Hi Plum” which I really do not understand why it is called that but oh well. This color is officially my favorite winter color! I have literally lost count of how many times I have worn this particular shade out. It is a beautiful red mixed maroon shade which compliments all my outfits this winter. It has a creamy texture but not too creamy where it will bleed out, just the right amount. The silky finish is not as much as the other Wet n Wild Silk Finish lipsticks that I have tried, this one dries out just a bit comparatively. Though it dries out a bit, all the moisture is not completely lost and it keeps my lips well moisturized. It claims to condition lips, which I feel it does the job but after I take this off my lips feel the same. So it definitely conditions temporarily, while I have the lipstick on. I have noticed, the staying power is much better than the other Wet n Wild lipsticks I have. Maybe it is the color, it is the deepest and brightest color I have so far, so maybe the color lingers on the lips longer, not sure. I do not even need to reapply this that much, (unless I am eating). It lasts me a good 3-4 hours which is a long time for me because of the low price. The scent of this lipstick is like any other, it has a common lipstick smell, nothing special. The ingredients in this lipstick, for example, Aloe Vera, are a bonus plus point for such a cheap priced lipstick.
