If you have been reading my posts lately, you probably know by now, that I’m obsessed with everything that smells nice! I don’t care what product it is!! If it smells good, I’m SOLD! : P !! For me, having a good fragrance is one thing in the world that I cannot live without, It is as important as food! : P!! I can go without make-up for a day, but not without Smelling good!! 😛 LoL…enough of my “Smell good” Obsession! *stereotype*!!

Bath and Body Works needs no introduction for the amazing line of fragrances it has to offer! Like most of you, I am a fan of their products and have them stocked in my perfume collection. Cashmere Glow is one of my favorites from the line and my nose loves it!! It offers a body lotion, a body mist, a body wash, bubble bath, body cream, Eu De Toilette, sugar scrub and a shimmer bomb. I am going to be talking about the Shimmer bomb today!I am sure everyone loves shimmer!! 😀 Let’s see if this tube is as great as the other products from BBW!

How To Use Bath and Body Works Cashmere Glow Shimmer Bomb:

Most people often misunderstand it for a body wash, but it is not! It is a a body lotion with micro beads and shimmer, just to add that dash of shimmer goodness!  I personally use if over my moisturizer, because I don’t find that it provides enough moisturization when used all by itself.

Packaging:

The most appealing part about the Cashmere Glow shimmer bomb would definitely be the packaging. Can define it as “Bright, Vibrant and Pretty”. The shimmer lotion is packed in a orange and rose gold packaging, with golden details. It is the usual flip cap pacakging, that is very easy to open. Not something you can carry around in your purse, it is going to make a huge mess. Totally not travel-friendly! The semi-transparent beads in the lotion can be seen through the packaging, which makes it look really pretty. It has the ingredients mentioned at the back of the tube.

My take on Bath and Body Works Cashmere Glow Shimmer Bomb:

When I first got it I was really excited because it had shimmer in it and I had never ever tried any product with shimmer. The shimmer bomb has a sheer peachy orange color with an amazingly strong fragrance. It is more like a gel than a lotion, and once you apply the lotion to your body, it dries really quick and the fragrance becomes softer. I love the Cashmere Glow Body Mist! The shimmer gets distributed evenly on the body and does not look like you are loaded with it.

The texture:

I am not really a fan of the texture, because it is quite drying and as I mentioned above, I need to layer it above a lotion. It does not really provide the nourishment that the other BBW products tend to provide. This is not a good deal for people who prefer heavy shimmer, it just adds that hint of shimmer to your body!

Pros of Bath and Body Works Cashmere Glow Shimmer Bomb:

• Fragrance.
• Pretty packaging.
• Shimmer does not look over the top.
• Quantity is huge for the price.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Cashmere Glow Shimmer Bomb:

• The cap packaging is not travel friendly.
• Too drying on the skin.
• Availability.
•  Does not provide a luxurious feel, as claimed.

Do I recommend Bath and Body Works Cashmere Glow Shimmer Bomb?

Well, Not really!! I love BBW but you can give this stuff a pass!! The Cashmere Glow body mist or body lotion is something you can have!

Would I repurchase Bath and Body Works Cashmere Glow Shimmer Bomb?

Nope! I love Cashmere Glow body mist, but I would not repurchase this product from the line!
