I’m tooooo excited to review my favourite dry shampoo for you all today!! Trust me, this is the second thing I’m in love with, first being Ryan Gosling obviously 😛 … so without much delay, I will go on with the review!
Batiste Dry Shampoo Dark and Deep Brown banishes oily roots and boosts body giving dull, lifeless hair the makeover it needs without any water. A hint of colour complements dark and deep brown hair tones and helps blend in root re-growth of coloured or tinted hair. A quick burst revitalises hair leaving it feeling clean and fresh. No need to worry about skipping a shampoo.

My Take on Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dark and Deep Brown:
I have long, waist-length hair and trust me, washing my hair is literally like a workout in itself for me. It takes ages for my hair to dry and it gets irritating when I’m in a hurry and I have to use a blow dryer to dry my hair. So when I’m in a rush and I have no patience to wash my hair in the morning, I use a dry shampoo. It’s quick and easy, just a few sprays on my roots and my hair feels refreshed and oil free.
I have used other dry shampoos but the problem with them was that they left a white cast on my roots and it looked like dandruff on my dark hair. Some were just plain absurd, did nothing to get rid of the greasiness, but batiste dry shampoo in dark and deep brown is perfect for those with dark hair. It has a dark brown tint which camouflages perfectly with my dark hair.
It works well in removing the oils as well. I use it on 3rd day hair, I get oily in the crown area and I just spray it in the area and massage the product into my roots and ta-da!!! Refreshed, oil free hair!
It gives volume as well; you just need to lift up your roots with fingers after spraying it to get insane volume. If you have grey hair and haven’t touched up your roots, this dry shampoo is just perfect for you, it will cover up the grey hair easily.
The instructions clearly say to shake the bottle vigorously before use. This is the most important step. I did not shake the bottle when I used it first and the result was horrible. Dark brown colored liquid oozed out, so shaking it well before use is very important.
The thing that bothers me is that it can stain your pillows if you over-use it. I went over board and sprayed my whole head with it and when I woke up, my white pillow cover was all brown 😛 so be careful and don’t over spray it.
Pros of Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dark and Deep Brown:
- It actually works, gets rid of greasiness wonderfully.
- Cheap as compared to the high-end ones.
- Tinted! Rejoice dark haired beauties!
- Works on 3rd day hair as well.
Cons of Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dark and Deep Brown:
- Can stain your pillow.
- Availability in India.
