Product Claims: The ultimate in blemish control, award winning Witch Blemish Stick helps break down excess oils and fights the bacteria that cause spots. Simply dab on as often as required, preferably as soon as blemishes start to appear
My Experience: I picked this blemish stick from Sainsbury’s on a weekly trip. I had heard a lot about witch hazel and was tempted to try it out. I had purchased and used the Nurture pigmentation reducing complex which did not work for me. Wanted to give this one a try.
Sometimes, the best products need not be highly priced or from a big brand. Little gems also work wonders at times. And this is one such product.
Witch hazel is one of nature’s many wonders. It naturally cleanses, tones and soothes, leaving your skin perfectly balanced, soft and healthy looking. No wonder “Witch” use this in each of their products.
The stick is cute and compact and holds the gel. It iss packed nicely in the stick. When you take a little out and place it on your skin it kind of melts into a liquid which is absorbed instantly. No fuss in application at all. I have combination skin and this one works well for such skin type. The gel has a strong smell – something like a mix of tea tree oil and aftershave 🙂 However once applied the smell does not linger on. Regular use of this product has prevented the few tiny breakouts that I have during that time of the month.
Price: £2.85 for a 10g stick.
