My Experience with Yardley London April Violets Moisturising Body Lotion:
Yardley London offers a wide range of products and the fragrance of these products is what attracts me. The fragrances are usually on the higher side and I just love all of them. This brand is definitely not for people who prefer fragrance-free products or mild fragrances.
The April Violets lotion comes in a tall tower bottle with a pump dispenser on top. The bottle is plastic with lovely pictures of April violet flowers. It looks very spring-like and amps up my mood. Who does not like flowers? I love them on anything and everything.
The opening of the pump dispenser is not too big, hence it’s easy to control the amount of product dispensed. The lotion itself is white in colour. The texture is very creamy and spreads very smoothly and easily on the skin. The best part is that the product gets absorbed within seconds and leaves a powdery satin finish.
I love the way my skin feels after using the product. The fragrance is pretty strong and can be overwhelming for a few. So, make sure you test it before you buy it. The fragrance is fresh and floral. The floral fragrance consists of citrus and geranium as top notes.
It has the heart of parma violets, iris, jasmine, ylang-ylang and tuberose with warm vanilla base notes. With all these lovely fragrances it results in a sweet smell which I love, especially during spring and summer months. The fragrance lingers for more than 4 hours or so. I love smelling great and love using this product.
I normally skip my perfume when I use this body lotion. I do not like when two fragrances clash. I have noticed that using it continuously has improved my dry skin. My skin is much smoother and softer than before. Overall it’s a great body lotion.
