Today, I am sharing another body lotion from Yardley. To my surprise, I really liked the English Rose body lotion I reviewed earlier and picked up the full size bottle.  Anyway, read on to know more about this product.

My experience with the Yardley London English Musk Moisturising Body Lotion

The packaging of the product is sturdy and travel friendly. It comes with a flip lock cap which fits the bottle perfectly and tight. There is no leakage from the product, so you can carry it anywhere as this size can easily find place in your bag. The packaging of the bottle is completely opaque. The bottle is pearly white and the cap is bright green in color. The body lotion comes in a pure white color and has a nice subtle musk fragrance. I am really not a fan of musk fragrances so this body lotion doesn’t seem to be my favourite. More than me, my dad has been using it and he liked it a lot. The scent is again very similar to their deodorants. The fragrance lingers on the body for about an hour, it stays fresh and not overpowering.

The body lotion has a soft and creamy texture. It has a slightly thicker consistency than the regular body lotions. It glides smoothly and gets easily absorbed in the skin leaving a nice subtle fragrance. It gets quickly absorbed into the skin without leaving a traces or cast behind. The texture is very light and spreads like dream. The body lotion doesn’t give any irritation but calms the skin and leaves it fresh and hydrated. The formula is non greasy or sticky even though it is slightly thick.
The level of hydration provided by the body lotion is good, it will suit well for normal to oily skin but I think excessively dry skinned girls will require more hydration. But for me, it is perfect for summers. I wouldn’t definitely reach this in winters. The moment you apply your skin feels soft and hydrated. The body lotion gently moisturizes penetrating deeper into the skin. I apply it two to three times for it to stay for the whole day.

Overall, I think it’s just a nice decent moisturizing lotion. If you are a fan of musk fragrance then this will work for you.

• It will not provide good hydration for winters.
• Dry skinned people will require more hydration.

Will I repurchase and do I recommend Yardley London English Musk Moisturising Body Lotion?

No, I am not a fan of musk fragrances so I wouldn’t be repurchasing it again. The formula is non greasy and leaves skin soft and hydrated. I recommend it to you if you like musk fragrance. Otherwise, you can easily skip this product.
