Yardley Moisturizing Lip Balm in Blueberry Dream

Yardley Moisturizing Lip Balm in Blueberry Dream

Hello cuties!

Today I’ll be sharing a lip balm review with you all. I bought this the other day because.. well because I can’t have enough lip balms and I love hoarding them. From the past few weeks I’ve noticed how dry my lips feel and since then I’ve been constantly re-applying lip balms and lip butters. So I thought if I’m going to use so much of my lip balms, I better stock up! Hehehe.. Now let’s get to the review!

My experience with Yardley Moisturizing Lip Balm in Blueberry Dream

First things first, the tube is white in colour with purple cap which fits with a click. The packaging is travel friendly. It has a lock mechanism, so incase the cap is shut, you can’t rotate the tube! Smart naa? I like the swirly patterns, the little stars and dots on the cap in a lighter shade of purple and white. The body of the lip balm doesn’t rotate as easily as a normal lip balm should. The colour of the lip balm is weird. It’s dull bluish-greenish shade. I do not like it. But it comes off as transparent when applied on the lips or swatched on the hand. The smell is okay-ish. It doesn’t at all smell like blueberries. The smell fades away quickly and is very faint, so no problem in that department. The balm is soft and creamy on the lips. Easy to apply from the tube. The balm doesn’t feel heavy. You do not feel the presence of the lip balm on your lips. The lip balm is thick so two swipes is enough for moisturizing your lips. The balm stays on for about 3 hours with meals in between. It moisturizes the lips well and like the packaging says, it does live upto the claims of giving your lips a dewy look, which I think, looks pretty. After an hour or so it does fade slightly, but still the lips feel moisturized, supple and soft.

IMBB rating:

4 / 5

If only the colour differed, I’d have given it 5/5!

Final verdict on Yardley Moisturizing Lip Balm in Blueberry Dream:

If you don’t mind the colour, go ahead and buy it! I was excited for the ‘Blueberry’ part of the lip balm, but I was a little disappointed! This one’s just a normal lip balm with  a weird colour but works well!
