Yardley So Natural Lip Balm
Hello ladies!
Today I’ll be reviewing another Yardley Lip balm called ‘So Natural’. Winters have already made my lips dry so I though of picking this baby up. Can’t have enough lip balms, can I? 😛 Anyway let’s see how this variant of Yardley lip balm fared for me.
Price:
INR 99!
Ingredients:
My experience with Yardley So Natural Lip Balm:
Packaging:
This lip balm comes in a bright blue-coloured plastic body which has cute patterns in light blue and white colour. The product details are printed in white. I own another lip balm from Yardley called ‘Blueberry Dream’. These two are almost the same except for their colours. Also, Blueberry Dream variant fell and it broke! So I would say that the body is brittle. Overall, this lip balm looks good.
Colour & Texture:
The lip balm is transparent with hardly any shine to it. Only if you keep swatching it on and on, you get some shine. The texture is a little thick but smooth. Lips do not feel heavy after application. It makes lips soft and it does not form a whitish film like some transparent lip balms. While on the lips, it provides moisture but after it fades, your lips feel a bit dry. So it isn’t hydrating enough for long.
Staying Power:
It lasts only until you eat or drink something. After that, there’s barely any balm on your lips. Couple of hours of balm on lips is what you are looking at.
Smell/Taste:
It has a very very mild fragrance similar to some vanilla ice cream, I feel. The smell is so sweet and yummy, I wish it were stronger and would last longer too! But no, it fades as soon as you put the balm on your lips. The balm has no taste to it.
Summing up the pros and cons;
Pros of Yardley So Natural Lip Balm:
- Cheap!
- Cute packaging.
- Yummy fragrance but doesn’t last long.
- Moisturising.
- Doesn’t leave whitish film.
- Makes lips soft
- Goodness of Avocado Oil, Vitamin A and E !
- Lips do not feel heavy!
Cons of Yardley So Natural Lip Balm:
- Staying power is poot.
- Isn’t hydrating enough.
IMBB Rating:
3.5 / 5
Final Verdict on Yardley So Natural Lip Balm:
It’s a decent product, provides moisture for 2-3 hours and is so light on the pocket! If you are searching for an average lip balm, this is it! For those looking for intensive care for lips can give this one a miss!
