Yes To Carrots Nourishing Shampoo
Hello All,

Wishing you all a very happy new year first. I am here to review my last product from the brand ‘Yes To’. This time is a shampoo that has disappointed me 🙁
After coming to Andamans, and particularly to Mayabunder, my present place, I lost half of my hair volume. Blaming the harsh water and the harsher shampoos, I decided to try something natural or organic. I googled and found Yes To Nourishing Shampoo in the list of best natural shampoos and thus bought a bottle – a BIG one!

Result was – I gave away the bottle with almost ⅔ of the shampoo to my maid!!!

My Review on Yes To Carrots Nourishing Shampoo
I didn’t like it. Simple. Blame my hair texture or blame the shampoo, it just didnt work on my hair at all. Or maybe I had piled too much expectation on the shampoo!
I was quite hopeful with the shampoo but I gave it many trials before finally chucking it. The shampoo not only made my hair rough but it took away way too many hair in each wash as well. It also added dandruff. So since it gave me dandruff to an extent that I felt the need to wash my hair on a daily basis. It took me more than few months to realize that something was wrong with my shampoo. I later got back to my Pantene and not only my hairfall has reduced, dandruff is also at bay. I now wash my hair thrice a week.
From the first wash itself, I noticed that a handful of hair strands were being washed away with water. I thought maybe it was the way I massaged oil into my hair. And then I tried several ways – different oils, different massages, no oiling before shampooing, too much of shampoo, too little of the shampoo and finally mixing the shampoo with another medicated shampoo. I somehow couldn’t believe that an all natural shampoo that had positive reviews otherwise was giving me troubles. But finally, one day I got Pantene again and washed my hair. Surprisingly, only a coupla strands were washed away and dandruff was also controlled.
Later, I gave away the bottle to my maid so that she could use it to wash her delicate clothes!!!
So, this shampoo is a dud for me.

Pros of Yes To Carrots Nourishing Shampoo
1. It claims to be natural.
Cons of Yes To Carrots Nourishing Shampoo
1. My oil scalp/dry hair combo faced harsh hairfall.
2. Didn’t control dandruff, instead increased it.
3. Didn’t nourish my hair at all as claimed.
4. Made hair rough right after the first wash.
5. Didn’t suit my hair at all.
6. Very expensive and totally not worth it.
IMBB rating: ZERO
Sorry, but if you have my hair type – thin, black, long hair that is dry but the scalp is oily, then skip it! Totally. I have learnt it the hard way that not everything natural is good!!
