My Experience with Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Creme Cleanser:

This cleanser comes packaged in a white plastic squeezy tube with a flip open cap. The packaging is quite easy to use and is travel-friendly. This is a cream cleanser and has a very thick luxurious coconut cream consistency and is white in color. The ultra rich cream is 96% natural and free from parabens, SLS, and silicones.
Yes to Coconut natural formulations are designed by combining oil from the fatty acids rich coconut fruit and other non-greasy moisturizers to help smooth the dry skin. The entire coconut collection is made for dry skinned people and helps to hydrate and restore the skin to a flawless finish. This product smells exactly like fresh coconuts. In addition to virgin coconut oil, it also has avocado oil and chia seed oil.
Since the consistency of this cleanser is rich and smooth, it feels almost like I’m smearing yogurt on my face, I usually slather a little dollop of the cleanser all over my dry face and massage it in. After that, I take a little water and use it to wash the face. I also tried using it by mixing it water and massaging it to the face to cleanse the skin. Either way, the cleanser doesn’t foam as it is very thick and I don’t like this product that much because of this. I feel that my skin is not completely cleansed as there is no foaming and the cream is too thick to apply and spread well on the skin.
Though the cream is too thick, it does become a bit milky when mixed with water but I still don’t get a feeling of a cleansed face when using this. This does remove dirt and grim and cleans the face but I don’t feel the squeaky clean feeling which I get from my other cleansers.
They boast that it removes makeup, oil, and dirt, so I used this a few times with a full face of makeup on to see how it performed. After a week of cleansing, I noticed it didn’t remove all of my makeup each of time I used it, so I suggest removing your eye makeup and anything else that is pretty tough to take off before you cleanse with this product.
This product is designed for dry skin. I have combination skin but I feel that my skin becomes dry after using this product which is just not right. This is an average product. Though it is natural and has a tempting smell, I am not impressed by this. It doesn’t apply properly, doesn’t give my skin a cleansed feel and moreover, it dries out my skin. I won’t repurchase this but if you’re looking to start incorporating more natural products with more wholesome ingredients in them, you can give this a whirl. The only thing I like about this product is that the company cares not just about beauty and health, but also about community too. They give a portion of their profits to Yes To Seed Fund, which inspires kids to lead healthier, more positive lives.
