Today’s review is about a daily moisturizer which is an all natural moisturizer made of cucumber and aloe. I like it as a normal moisturizer and particularly as a summer moisturizer, but nothing more than that. Good thing is the company itself does not claim anything more than that!  The company claims a soothing, cooling and refreshing effect on the skin after use of this moisturizer and this cream does just that.

Organic cucumbers are packed with rejuvenating vitamins which soothe and soften the skin, cucumbers also having cooling properties which help keep your skin supple and fresh. Aloe vera is a highly effective, naturally gentle moisturizer that is known to refresh and soothe skin. 98% natural.

Ingredients:

Water (aqua), caprylic/capric triglyceride, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, glyceryl stearate, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), potassium cetyl phosphate, glycerin, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice*, cetyl alcohol, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, glyceryl laurate, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract*, brassica oleracea italica (broccoli) extract*, spinacia oleracea (spinach) leaf extract*, olea europaea (olive) leaf extract*, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary).

How To Apply:

Apply a thin coat to face after cleansing. Think to yourself, “hey, that feels nice!” Ahhh… you’re soothed, hydrated, and happy.

What I Think about Yes To Cucumbers Daily Calming Facial Moisturizer:

If I have to write my experience with this moisturizer, I would say “I like it for it is a good moisturizer.”  The moisturizer is light, gets easily absorbed and gives a fresh look to the face. I think it is more about its ingredients list that has cucumber, aloe and various other plant’s extracts.  I would say that this is a perfect summer time facial moisturizer that is light and has ingredients that give you a cooling and fresh look on the face. The best part is its fresh cucumber(y) and aloe(y) fragrance that you can smell on your face after the application. The fragrance vanishes after a while, but you feel the slight cooling and soothing sensation on the face.

Basically, it is like any cucumber or aloe cream that is light in texture. It gets absorbed quickly and keeps the face hydrated though this isn’t right for AC or winter season.

The pack comes in a pump bottle and the nozzle somehow gives the exact amount of cream that you need for one time application. You need about 0.5 ml for one time application, so 50 ml would last you for about 2 months. The texture is like a cream but it is not as thick as a cream. It is between that of a cream and a lotion.

The product is 98% natural so that’s another plus though I fail to understand the meaning of naturalness in terms of %.

All in all, a nice, light and soothing summer facial moisturizer.
