I have been a fan of Clarins lip oil for a while now and wanted to try another lip oils as well, so here a tint-in-oil that I picked up from YSL. The shade that I will be reviewing today is “Crush Me Orange No. 7.”

My Experience with YSL Crush Me Orange 7 Volupte Tint-In-Oil:
YSL tint-in0oil comes housed in a silver metal with a band showing the color through it. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the tube and the applicator is attached to the cap itself. The applicator is a typical YSL applicator which holds a perfect amount of product to cover the entire lips and it also fits lips perfectly.
YSL lip oil is very different from Clarins lip oil. Clarins lip oil is thicker and more of a lip treatment than a lip topper whereas YSL lip oil has slightly runny consistency and offers slight tint to the lips. YSL lip oil feels very lightweight, moisturising and hydrating on the lips. I like to wear it alone as well as using it as a lip gloss. It imparts one of the best “wet-looking” lips with high shine.
“Crush Me Orange” is a beautiful bright orange shade which on application looks clear, but with time, it adds a wash of colour. I get around 3 hours of wear time, which is just fine, but I actually don’t mind it since I use it as a gloss more often than just on its own. Like all other YSL lip products, it also has a fruity scent which fades a while after application.
When worn alone, it leaves a beautiful tint behind which doesn’t make your lips look flat. Though after the color wears off, hydration goes away and you need to reapply to get the hydration back.
