YSL La Laque Rose Renaissance Couture Nail Lacquer
Hi Beauties,

Today, I am going to review a nail polish, which I insist…you have to buy it and see for yourself. It is expensive, it is less widely available. But it has a wide range of colors…and you will get your desired shade for winters or summers at the counter. What I am saying is that, the quality is so so so good…..it really cannot get better than this.
About the product: A highly pigmented nail lacquer to suit your every mood. Created by Yves Saint Laurent’s International Creative Director of Beauty, Lloyd Simmonds, this concentrated nail color remains intense with shine and hold for at least four days. Enriched with chil rose bush oil to strengthen and protect nails, the formula has a quick drying time and comes with a new custom-made brush that allows an easy and fast application. The nail lacquer perfectly adheres to the brush that pulls the drop instead of pushing it for a flawless and intense result.

Formulated WITHOUT: Parabens, Sulfates, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs, Triclosan.
Ingredients:
Price: Rs. 1280/- for 10ml product.
My experience with YSL La Laque Rose Renaissance Couture Nail Lacquer:
I bought this shade during Diwali this year, when I got it at a 15% discount. I bought it along with the Clinique “Black Honey” nail polish; but I wish I had bought few more from this range only.
The nail lacquer comes in the typical golden colored box packaging, which has all the details on it. Inside is packaged the nail lacquer bottle. The bottle looks so pretty to look at…..with a golden cap and a square glass bottle. Inside the golden cap is a black cap…to which the brush applicator is attached. The quantity 10 ml is good enough ….not too much…not too little. The applicator has a flat brush…but not like those other thick, flat brushes. The brush is just beautiful…it is flat and somewhat thin…and this makes it so easy to apply nail lacquer; and without making much mistakes during application
The shade Rose Rennaissance is a beautiful rosy pink shade…which is quite bold….but not like hot fuchsia. It has a blue undertone to it. This shade is definitely for day wear…and will look extremely glamorous and sophisticated for night time wear. This is a perfect rose…which is bound to look good on all skin tones and undertones.
The formula is on a thinner side…not very runny though. This thin formula helps the nail lacquer to be applied easily with the thin, but flat brush…and the lacquer spreads easily on the nails as well. The nail lacquer applies glossy in the beginning, but gently the glossiness decreases to leave a soft sheen to the nails. The pigmentation is superb. It gives opaque coverage in one coat only…however the opacity and the pigmentation can be increased by applying another coat. The Nail Lacquer took about 10-15 minutes for each coat to dry. However, if you want to do some heavy duty hand work immediately after applying this, it will be better to put in a few drops of drying agent.
The nail lacquer, once applied and dried…..just stays on and on and on. I noticed my first chipping on the index finger of my dominant hand; around 9 days after application. The sheen was intact, the shine was immaculate. The color was good….and after giving it a shot for another week, I finally removed it on Day 15….when I finally had minor chipping in three of my nails…and my newly grown nails were really peeking through. And I was really tired…I needed a change.
I have regained my faith in brands and in nail lacquers….after using this.
Pros of YSL La Laque Rose Renaissance Couture Nail Lacquer :
• Luxurious packaging.
• Consistency is thin…not thick and gloopy.
• Gets opaque in one coat…without any streaks.
• Applicator is the best I have used to date…thin and flat.
• Beautiful bold, rosy pink shade; with slight blue undertones.
• Dries out fast on the nails.
• Stays on and on….and on.
• Shine does not get dull at all.
• Formulated without harmful chemicals.
Cons of YSL La Laque Rose Renaissance Couture Nail Lacquer :
• Expensive.
• Limited availability.
IMBB Rating: 5/5
Will I recommend YSL La Laque Rose Renaissance Couture Nail Lacquer ?
Yes….of course. I will recommend this and buy more shades from this range. This range is really among the very best you will get out there. It will be much better to buy such quality products; and enjoy real luxury in the meanwhile and prevent your nails from damage.
