My Experience with Yves Rocher Accord Chic Secrets d’Essences Perfumed Body Lotion:
The perfumed body lotion comes in an opaque white plastic bottle with a shiny black cap. The screw cap is also a flip cap. The flip cap is not very tight compared to the other products from Yves Rocher. The bottle is opaque and you cannot see the quantity of the lotion. There is some basic information on the back of the bottle. The bottle is not very hard and you can usually squeeze out the lotion easily. The bottle is not sealed and is travel-friendly. The bottle is made from recycled plastic.
The lotion is creamy and white in color. The fragrance of the lotion is amazing. The lotion has a spicy and floral note. The smell is not very strong but is mild and feminine. The lotion melts very easily onto the skin and gets absorbed very quickly without leaving any greasy residue. The fragrance stays for around 1.5-2 hours and after that a very light note of floral stays behind. The lotion is claimed to be made from sweet almond oil and blueberry water.
The lotion moisturizes the skin well and the skin stays hydrated for around 6 hours depending on the weather. In cold seasons, the hydration stays for around 4 hours and in summer days, the moisturization can go for 8 hours. The lotion is very light and you can hardly feel it on the skin. The lotion is suitable for sensitive skin and doesn’t cause any irritation or redness. But, I have noticed that it causes a little tingling sensation when applied on freshly shaved or waxed skin.
The product is free from parabens and SLS. It is also made from 96% natural ingredients, which is a plus. The product is quite expensive and I like it for its 2-in-1 property and when I am in a hurry, I could just use the lotion instead of perfume and go light!
