Today’s review is about Yves Rocher Almond and Orange Blossom Relaxing Body Lotion. The body lotion has a major component from plant extracts which makes it a botanical product. Please note, this is not an organic product.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Almond and Orange Blossom Relaxing Body Lotion:
The body lotion comes in a small round plastic container with a flap lid. The packaging is very sturdy. The flap lid sometimes gets a little difficult to open as it’s a little tight. It can easily damage the nails. I open mine with my teeth. 😀 But it’s travel safe since there is no chance that the flap would open up automatically. The bottle is also transparent, making it easy to know the amount of the product left. There is no need to squeeze the bottle hard to get the product out. The product flows out easily since it’s creamy enough.
The consistency of the product is creamy. It is light green in color. The green is not noticeable and is just a slight hint of green. They have used artificial colouring for this and I do not prefer that. If you are allergic to artificial coloring then please stay away from this range. I use twice the walnut size for my entire body. The lotion spreads very easily on the skin. The skin feels satiny during application. The product leaves the skin extremely soft and silky. The lotion gets absorbed very quickly and does not leave the skin greasy or oily.
The product contains almond extract and orange extract and we all know how good almond oil is for the skin and the freshness orange provides. Orange peel is also good for sunburned skin. The product moisturizes the skin without the oily or greasy feeling. The fragrance is not very pleasant, at least to me. I was expecting it to be more citrus based, but I could hardly feel the orange fragrance. I feel the combination of almond and orange fragrance has led to a slightly unpleasant smell. But still it’s bearable. I may not repurchase this lotion due to its fragrance.
Overall, it’s good enough for the skin even during autumn months. But, it might not be the ideal body lotion during winters. I have slightly dry skin and need that extra care for my skin during winter months. I would either have to apply this one twice or I will look out for a better body lotion.
