My Experience with Yves Rocher Aloe Vera Pulp Moisturizing Lotion Dry Skin:
The lotion comes in a white green tube package. Since the product contains aloe Vera, you can see the depiction of it on the lotion. The product comes unsealed. There is some information on the back of the tube. I personally like the tube package. The flip cap is very tight to open. I am over with this already as most of the products from Yves Rocher have this issue. This makes the product travel-friendly. Since the spring is approaching, the weather is not very bad and thus I picked this one up as I felt it is light and moisturizing enough for calm winters.
The product is white in color and it gets dispensed without any issues. The lotion is lightweight and not very thick. It smells like aloe vera and has a light creamy gel texture. The product gets absorbed very well and is also very easy to spread. The product doesn’t leave any greasy residue behind. The product is claimed to contain around 96% natural ingredients.
The product moisturizes the skin effectively and it soothes the skin post application. I personally love this effect; it feels like applying aloe on the skin with extra effects. The lotion makes the skin very soft and smooth and it quenches the moisture thirst the skin needs. I absolutely love how well it clears dry skin during application. The product is great after a wax/epilation as it immediately soothes the irritated skin and heals it. The product nourishes the skin for around 6 hours, and post which a reapplication is needed.
Even though the product is meant for dry skin, I wouldn’t suggest just the usage of this one during winters. It could be a good summer/spring product, but not something to treat the dryness issues. Even though it masks the dryness, I notice that the dryness reappears after a couple of hours and since it is not rich, it doesn’t meet the skin’s moisture demand throughout the day. This product could be the best option for treating epilated skin but other than that, I would use it only spring and summer. The product is free from mineral oil and parabens and it doesn’t contain silicones too. Overall, for me this product is my Holy Grail lotion post epilation and I would repurchase it for this purpose! So summing up.
