My Experience with Yves Rocher Apricot Fruity Scrub:

This is my first Yves Rocher product. I had a discount membership card for this brand which I had received when I purchased few products in France. I had never used it and while on a weekend stroll, I just peeked into the store and saw a lot of amazing products and I just went in and this Apricot scrub caught my attention. I always thought Yves Rocher was pricey! But certain products are cost effective too and I purchased this scrub and Yves Rocher 3 Minute Cranberry Cooling Effect Mask. Luckily the mask was already reviewed and I just picked it up without any other thoughts!

The scrub comes in a translucent yellow tube. The product can be seen through the tube and it is easy to check the quantity! The cap is also translucent and it shuts with a click and thus tight and travel friendly. Considering the small 50ml tube, this product is easy to carry in your purse during travelling! The scrub is creamy, light yellow and shiny with apricot kernels. The particles are not harsh and doesn’t cause any issues while being rubbed on the skin. The scrub smells similar to apricot, and little artificial.

The scrub is easy to use and massage, the kernels are not abrasive and effectively removes dead skin from the face. The scrub does a good job in exfoliation. Once you rinse off, the results are beautiful. The skin is clean, soft and glowing. The product also makes the skin brighter and it removes whitehead too. The product doesn’t dry out the skin. The one thing I didn’t like about the product is that when rinsed off, it gives a feeling like your face has been washed with soap, it is kind off very squeaky clean and this makes me wonder if this scrub is stripping essential oils it has produced? I am not sure about that but I have combination skin and anything that makes me look less oily is welcomed!

The product doesn’t have parabens, SLS and thus it is another plus for the scrub. I didn’t have any breakouts while using the product and also no redness. Overall, a gentle exfoliator and can be used for 2-3 times in a week. So summing up:

Pros of Yves Rocher Apricot Fruity Scrub:

  • Makes skin soft and smooth.
  • Removes whiteheads.
  • Creamy and easy to apply and massage.
  • The apricot kernels are not abrasive and doesn’t cause any redness.
  • Makes face look bright and exfoliated.
  • Doesn’t contain parabens, SLS.
  • Travel friendly considering the small size.

Cons of Yves Rocher Apricot Fruity Scrub:

  • Makes face squeaky clean, could be stripping the essential oils.
  • Artificial smell.
  • Pricey for a 50ml tube.

IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
