Shower Gels play a very important part in our lives. I was one of among the few women, who shifted from soap to body wash after being on IMBB and reading all the good things about a shower gel over a soap. I have noticed huge differences after using a shower gel and it has been more than 4 years since I started using a Shower gel. Even though I have purchased different shower gels, Yves Rocher is one brand that I am in love with and I recently purchased a new one and today’s review is about Yves Rocher Cherry Bloom Shower Gel. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Cherry Bloom Shower Gel:
The packaging is quite simple. The bottle is made of biodegradable plastic and thus, it feels a little flimsy. The bottle is long and is light pink in colour, transparent and you can see the quantity of the shower gel present in the bottle. The cap is silver in colour and is tight. This is something that I have a problem with. Even though it makes the bottle leak-proof and travel-friendly, it feels really difficult to open and can be a hassle in the bathroom. My thumb’s nail gets damaged when I am trying to open it. With the last bottle, I noticed that the plastic was really hard and when the shower gel was getting less, it was really difficult to squeeze the bottle but with this, it is very easy to squeeze.
The shower gel like the name suggests has the texture of a gel and is very light pink in colour. It feels semi thick and a little on the runny side. The smell is amazing and has a floral cherry bloom fragrance. The smell is so fresh and light and puts me on cloud 9! The smell is not heavy but it lingers for some time. They have a body lotion and Eau De Toilette from the same range. The smell, however, doesn’t last long. So, you need to combine the lotion and Eau De Toilette for making the perfume stay longer. The shower gel lathers very well and is also easy to wash off. The skin feels very soft and moisturised. The shower gel doesn’t leave any residue and leaves the skin squeaky clean.
The shower gel is enriched with organic aloe Vera and it plays a part in making the skin smooth and supple. The shower gel doesn’t dry out the skin. I have really dry skin, after using this shower gel, I use a moisturiser. I usually have dry patches when not moisturised but, the shower gel completely minimises the visibility of dry patches. The gel is very gentle and is made of organic products and thus the skin is replenished with natural ingredients. The product is free of parabens, colourants and nourishes the skin very effectively. As it is a gel, it might not be a perfect choice for winters. However, the shower gel is a good choice and for the price, it is a beautifully scented shower gel.
