Yves Rocher Eclat Radiance Raspberry Rinsing Vinegar Review

Hair type: medium length, frizz-prone

The concept of rinsing vinegar isn’t new to me. Albeit I have not tried the store-bought ones, I have been using apple cider vinegar for years now. Such rinsing vinegar cleanses your scalp, makes hair bouncy and adds shine to hair. But there are a few problems with using apple cider vinegar – first, it smells quite bad and second, it stings your eyes badly despite being diluted. So when I saw this rinsing vinegar, which is made with raspberries, I could not stop myself from trying it. But, is it as good as 100% natural apple cider vinegar? Let’s find out in the review! 🙂

My Experience with Yves Rocher Eclat Radiance Raspberry Rinsing Vinegar:

Awww, isn’t that a cute bottle? I love how chubby and cute it is. The transparent bottle comes with a uniquely shaped cap which fits well. The product comes out through a small hole which makes it user friendly. The packaging bears a lot of details about the product, which is another plus. The product looks red in the packaging but does not impart any color. The consistency is just like water, more runny than water. It spreads easily on the hair, making this product very user friendly.

The fragrance is the USP of this rinse. It smells so good of berries – of raspberries, with a hint of vinegar, though. I just love the sweet, fruity fragrance. It fills my bathroom and stays in my hair for around a day. In this sweaty season, what else could I have asked for!

As I had mentioned previously in the post, I sometimes use ACV just before the final rinse. This rinse by Yves Rocher is a great alternative to ACV, especially for people who hate its smell. This rinse works on the same lines as it makes my hair feel so fresh and clean. All the product build-up is gone and my scalp feels super clean and refreshed. I apply this after my shampoo and conditioner. On my medium length hair, I directly pour through the bottle and spread the product on my scalp and across the length of my hair. To be honest, a lot of description regarding how the product is supposed to be used isn’t given on the packaging or on the website. So, I just pour it directly and massage the product for a few seconds and then wash it off. I do not dilute it like ACV. If it gets into my eyes, it does irritate them a bit, hence I keep my eye closed mostly.

Yves Rocher Eclat Radiance Rinsing Vinegar Consistency

After application, I just massage it a little and then wash it off. It gets easily rinsed and leaves hair feeling squeaky clean. I cannot really feel anything when my hair is wet or damp, but I can see enhanced shine as soon as my hair is dry. My hair also feels soft, though not super soft after use. ACV controls my frizzy hair too, but this one cannot, so I won’t say it can completely replace ACV – not at least in my hair care regimen. The effects, that is softness and shine, last for around two days after which I wash my hair.

Yves Rocher Eclat Radiance Rinsing Vinegar Dispenser

Overall, it is a good hair care product that does everything it claims. I use it around twice a week and it does make me happy, mainly because of its fragrance. If you use a lot of hair products and don’t use a clarifying shampoo, you must try it. I am looking forward to trying out more hair care products by this brand.
