My Experience with Yves Rocher Energizing Bath and Shower Gel Grapefruit and Thyme:

Yves Rocher Energizing Bath and Shower Gel comes in a plastic bottle with a green cap. The transparent bottle makes it easier to determine the quantity of the shower gel left inside. The flip cap is not good at all. It closes very tightly, making it a hassle to open in the shower. Alternatively, I unscrew the cap instead.

The shower gel has a semi-thick texture and is a bit runny. The shower gel looks reddish in colour in the bottle and is almost transparent when taken out. The shower gel smells very refreshing and citrus-like, and this is because of the presence of grapefruit. The product doesn’t come sealed. There is a lot of information on the back of the bottle.

The shower gel lathers quite well even without a loofah. A little product is more than enough for a perfect cleanse. Once washed off, my skin feels perfectly cleansed. The smell of the grapefruit and thyme kind of perks up your mood. The product doesn’t dry out your skin, and I feel that it is a perfect product for the early summer and following up with a lightweight lotion, I’m ready for the whole day.

I have dry, scaly skin in the harsh winters, which continues to early summer, and with this body wash, I have noticed that the dry scales have reduced. The product makes the skin soft but, this is short-lived. My skin feels cool and refreshed almost the whole day. The product doesn’t combat body odour, and thus following up with a deo is a must. Also, the fragrance is short-lived. Yves rocher products are made from natural ingredients, which is an added advantage. However, the product contains ALS.

So, summing up:

Pros of Yves Rocher Energizing Bath and Shower Gel Grapefruit and Thyme:

  • Refreshing and a cooling shower gel.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Perfectly cleanses the body.
  • Doesn’t dry out the skin.
  • Makes skin soft.
  • Made from natural ingredients.
  • Travel-friendly.

Cons of Yves Rocher Energizing Bath and Shower Gel Grapefruit and Thyme:

  • Doesn’t combat body odor.
  • Very tight cap.
  • Contains ALS.

IMBB Rating: 3/5
