I had recently picked up L’Oreal Paris Hydra Active 3 Nutrissime Day Cream and Balea Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Protective Day Cream with SPF 15 for day moisturising. But, they failed; one caused breakouts and the other one was very heavy for summers. While I was looking for a day cream, I came across this Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal 24H Intense Hydrating Gel Cream. My Experience with Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal 24H Intense Hydrating Gel Cream:

The gel-creme comes in a plastic sealed cardboard container. I prefer sealed products and I absolutely love this one. The box has most of the information. The gel crème comes in a transparent glass jar, which has a wide mouth. It comes with a white screw cap, which has a blue tape lining with the brand’s name. The overall packaging might be a little bulky for travelling.

The gel crème is white in colour and has a creamy texture. The cream is extremely light and fluffy. The smell is very fresh and pleasant. It is easy to spread and gets absorbed pretty quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue behind. As the name suggests, the cream adds instant hydration and moisture to the skin as soon as it is applied.

The cream just blends into the skin, which makes it a perfect base for makeup. The cream is refreshing and a perfect summer choice. The cream, even though is meant for normal to combination skin, does reduce dryness to a great extent. It has helped me get rid of flakes from my skin and I could go two weeks without exfoliation. Also, added radiance is a plus point.

Within a week of usage, the skin became toned and intensively moisturised. The cream also adds suppleness and smoothness to the skin. Even though the claim of 24H is tempting, you can expect a good moisturization for only up to 10 hours, after which you need a reapplication. The product doesn’t cause any breakout and doesn’t irritate the skin.

Like many Yves Rocher products, this one too is made from natural and organic ingredients and is free from paraben. The product is absolutely a must look out if you are searching for a light weight but intensely moisturizing cream.
