I like experimenting with Yves Rocher products, because more often than not, they have impressed me. Today’s review will be about Yves Rocher I Love My Planet Radiance Shampoo. Read on to know if it lived up to my expectations of a brilliant shampoo.

My Experience with Yves Rocher I love My Planet Radiance Shampoo:

Packaging: The 300 ml green bottle is big and bulky, but made of sturdy plastic. All the product details (trust me, there are loads of details) are printed on the body. The nozzle dispenses right amount of shampoo and the flip open cap shuts tight to ensure leak-free carriage.

YR products have been either super hits or big flops for me. This one somehow falls in between. The refreshing, citrusy fragrance greets me on opening the bottle. The clear gel shampoo lathers very well. It cleans your hair, removing accumulated grease and oils. You won’t have any trace of dirt or oil. On the flip side, it strips your hair of its natural oils and if you have dry, frizzy hair, you are doomed.

My hair is quite dry with frizz and flyaways, so it isn’t the most agreeable choice for me. On days when I massage my hair with hot oil, my hair literally is drenched in oil. I use this shampoo as I know more than 70% oil gets removed in the first wash. If you haven’t oiled your hair, follow up with a deep conditioning treatment for clean, light and nourished hair.

If you have limp, oily hair, which gets greasy the very next day, try this for bouncy, voluminous hair. Your hair will look, smell and feel good. The other astonishing thing is that it gives definition to curls, I mean not well-defined curls, but my wavy hair has beachy waves.
This shampoo is environment friendly, free from toxic chemicals and carries “Ecolabel certification,” which is quite a rarity for beauty products.

While I like its organic, eco-friendly formula, I won’t repurchase as it isn’t best suited for my dry hair, but I will make use of this big bottle in whatever way I can.
