My Experience with Yves Rocher Lavandin Blackberry Relaxing Bath and Shower Gel:
Yves Rocher Lavandin Blackberry Relaxing Bath and Shower Gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a green flip cap. The design is similar to almost all their shower gels from this range. One can see the amount of product left inside. The flip cap is very tight and can cause a bit of hassle while opening, especially in the shower. The tight cap can easily break your nails. I usually unscrew the cap than opening the flip cap. The bottle is sturdy and travel-friendly.
The shower gel is thick and has a gel-like texture. The color is a light lavender but almost looks transparent when taken out in small quantity. The shower gel smells fabulous. It smells berry-like and has a beautiful fruity fragrance. The shower gel lathers quickly and with a loofah, a coin-sized product is more than enough for my entire body. The fragrance fades away after a shower, leaving behind a dry and washed out smell, which is disappointing.
The shower gel contains aloe vera, which makes the skin very soft and smooth after the shower. It also contains lavandin oil and blackberry extract that nourish the skin while infusing it with their fragrance and goodness. I have dry skin, but this shower gel doesn’t dry out my skin, which is a huge plus. Most of the products are processed from organic farming and contain ingredients in its natural origin and thus, you can be sure that you are not loading your body with unwanted chemicals while getting cleaned. The product is free from parabens, which I love. It also never irritates the skin. But, the product may not be a good choice for those who suffer from smelly armpits. The shower gel doesn’t mask or prevent sweating and thus, following up with an antiperspirant is mandatory. Overall, it is a good relaxing shower gel with a beautiful fragrance.
