Body washes play a very important role in our lives! Along with keeping us clean, we want our body wash for skin care benefits, but we do not want a boring body wash. Yves Rocher has come up with very energetic body washes and I picked up one recently and today’s review is about Yves Rocher Mango Coriander Bath Shower gel. So, read on to know more.
What the company claims:
The pleasure of a gentle bath, shower gel with energizing benefits.
Yves Rocher has chosen Coriander, traditionally renowned for its toning properties. It is at the heart of this spherical and tasty white fruit that all the richness of Coriander essential oil is found. Its floral, spicy scent and sharp and invigorating freshness, softened by the colorful and vibrant notes of Mango, give you a boost of vitality that stimulates your senses.
To soak up vitality in the shower or bath, our unique chain of experts since 1959, have chosen and combined Organic Aloe Vera gel, essential oil of Coriander* and Mango extract. The skin is gently cleansed and delicately perfumed.
Tested under dermatological supervision.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Mango Coriander Bath Shower gel:
I have been using creamy body washes for a long time and when my body wash was almost getting over, I wanted to buy a new one but with all the Yves Rocher products that I have been trying and the beautiful reviews, I wanted to buy from Yves Rocher and went to their shop. I initially picked up Coconut shower gel, as I am a sucker for coconut smell and when I spotted Mango Coriander, I picked it too! The reason being Mango is my favorite and I have been missing the yummy mangoes and the combination of Coriander was weird and was curious to try it.
The shower gel comes in a round crimson red-yellow plastic bottle with a flip cap. The bottle is transparent and you can see the amount of the shower gel remaining. The green flip cap is very tight and shuts with a click. The tightness of the cap makes it travel friendly. The small bottle size is convenient to be placed in the bathroom and makes it look classy. The bottle is a little thick and you really need to squeeze with a little force to get the shower gel out. For now, it is full and is easy but it makes me wonder if I need to do a lot of squeezing when the gel starts hitting the bottom. The shower gel has a gel consistency but is runny. The smell of mangoes dominates the shower gel fragrance. You can also smell coriander but it is very faint. The fragrance is fruity. The shower gel is light yellow in color.
The shower gel lathers good and a coin sized gel is more than enough for cleansing the complete body. The shower gel can be used either on a loofah or just hands. The skin is instantly fresh when rinsed and the fragrance lingers around for a while, making you awake. The freshness after the bath makes you feel energized. I expected the bathroom to turn into a mango orchard when I used it for the first time, but the fragrance is pleasant and it stays on your skin for long and not that strong to make the bathroom smell. The fragrance stays for approx. 2 hours after the bath.
The shower gel makes the skin very smooth, soft and supple. I expected this as it contains Glycerin. The gel is also light and doesn’t leave any residue and gets cleansed off when rinsed with water. The body wash also eliminates body odor to some extent. The gel is gentle and as it has 98% ingredients from natural origin as claimed, I used it to wash my freshly waxed legs and I didn’t experience any discomfort or irritation. I have used it to shave my underarms too once and I had no irritation after shaving either. The gel also moisturizes the body but I do need to follow up with a lotion. While it does hydrate and doesn’t make skin dry, I really have dry skin and the hydration effect was not in a way that I could skin my lotion. The product is also free from Paraben and Ethoxylate. Overall, it is a good shower gel. Is it a must have? No, but is it worth a try? Definitely yes, if you love mangoes! So summing up:
