My Experience with Yves Rocher Monoi Lagoon Hair and Body Wash:

The body wash comes in a blue plastic bottle with a yellow cap. You can dispense the product either by using the flip cap or by unscrewing the cap. The flip caps are very sturdy and tight in all Yves Rocher products and this is annoying when you are in the shower; I got my nails chipped when using the product.

The shower gel is clear and has the consistency of a gel. It has a semi-thick consistency and is easy to lather. The bottle is not very hard and this makes easier dispensing of the liquid. The fragrance is very beautiful and floral. It is almost like a perfumed body wash. The fragrance stays for around 1-2 hours even after the shower.

The body wash is easy to lather with or without a loofah; when rinsing it out, it feels like it leaves a thin film of moisture behind. The shower gel moisturises the skin better than traditional shower gels. The gel wash does not dry out the skin and this is a plus, especially when you need to epilate or wax. The shower gel can also be used for hair. This comes handy when you are in a swimming pool or at a beach and need to keep the products to the minimum.

The gel cleanses the hair effectively but it does dry out the hair and doesn’t moisturise the hair and a conditioner is a must to keep hair healthy. I wouldn’t recommend you to use the gel frequently on your hair but occasionally you can cheat. 😀 The shower gel doesn’t do anything good for the hair.

The shower gel cleanses the body effectively and also removes body odour. My body is free from odour for the whole day. The 2-in-1 wash is mainly made keeping the beach/pool in mind. It removes chlorine or chemicals and also any sand and salt from the body and hair effectively. The wash is a good product and doesn’t contain paraben and also is made from natural ingredients.
