Of late, I’ve been obsessed with perfumes. Whenever someone asks me where my salary is going, I would point towards my perfume rack! 😀 While I was picking up a few products from Yves Rocher, I came across this perfume. Since it’s summer, I tend to sweat a lot, and thus, perfumes come in handy to camouflage my body odour. So, today’s review is all about Yves Rocher Naturelle Osmanthus Eau De Toilette.
Price and Quantity: $39 for 75ml
A fresh, spontaneous and sensual fragrance!
Looking for a fresh and sensual fragrance ?
Our Naturelle Osmanthus creation combines the feminity of the natural Osmanthus Absolute and the sensuality of Jasmine with the vivacity of the Lemon Essence and the sophistication of Cedar Essence.
Spontaneous and feminine, it leaves an irresistible spring fragrance in your wake.
My Experience with Yves Rocher Naturelle Osmanthus Eau De Toilette:
Yves Rocher Naturelle Osmanthus EDT comes in a sealed white colored cardboard packaging. The box bears all the necessary product-related information. The perfume itself comes in a green and peach colored glass bottle. The design is beautiful, and I love it. The perfume bottle comes with a peach colored plastic cap, which closes tightly with a click. However, there is no information on the bottle, even the name is not mentioned anywhere, and the name is also difficult to remember! I wish Yves Rocher did better in this case.
Since it is early spring here, I decided to pick up something floral and feminine, and seeing the description, I felt that this would be the one I was looking for. Of late, I was travelling a lot, and this felt like a perfect bottle to carry in the flight. Another main reason why I picked it up was I loved the color and design and wanted to have it to show off 😀
Since it is a glass bottle, it is bulky and a little heavier than the other perfume bottles. The spray nozzle diffuses the perfume effectively on a larger area. The perfume is mainly a spring floral perfume with notes of citrus fragrance. On application, the notes are mainly citrus and herb-like, but within a few minutes, the heart notes of floral open up. The heart notes of Osmanthus and Jasmine provide a very feminine, summery and fresh aroma. These floral notes stay for the longest period as they are pretty strong. On my body, this particular note stayed for almost 4 hours. The base notes are cedar and mask.
The fragrance fades aways faster when I’m out in the sun but, if I stay indoors, the perfume stays put for a good 5 hours, and I’m happy about it. Due to my body heat, perfumes stay only for a shorter period, and 5 hours is more than what I expected from an EDT. The product is very feminine and perfect for a daytime wear. It is a bit intimidating and fresh for night-time, too. However, the fragrance is strong and not everyone would like it. The price is also pretty expensive and in the US, it retails for around 52$, which is not cheap, and you can easily get high-end EDPs for this price. But, if you are looking for a strong floral and a fresh fragrance, this will be a perfect choice. So summing up:
Pros of Yves Rocher Naturelle Osmanthus Eau De Toilette:
- Lasts for around 5 hours.
- Attractive packaging.
- Very feminine and strong.
- Fresh floral fragrance.
- Perfect for daily wear.
- Easily masks body odor.
Cons of Yves Rocher Naturelle Osmanthus Eau De Toilette:
- Might be too strong and intimidating for a night out.
IMBB Rating: 4/5
