I always feel guilty as a lip balm holder and then recently I got this Yves Rocher Nourishing Lip Balm Strawberry. This is my first product from this brand and I really like it. Let’s get into the details.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Nourishing Lip Balm Strawberry:

Packaging:
Yves Rocher Nourishing Lip Balm Strawberry comes in a nice green and creamy white colored tube with a strawberry printed on the cap. This small tube is easy to carry around. The packaging is very sturdy and good quality, hence it looks nice. But, if compared to other lip balms, it is a little pricey yet it works almost the same.

Shade:
They offer so many variants and I picked up this Strawberry one. It is a beautiful shade but not a very sheer color. In the tube, it looks bright red, but on the lips, it looks translucent with a hint of red. Yet the color looks very pretty and nice as an everyday lip balm. This shade is not very pigmented and it needs more swipes for the color to show up. Also, it can’t hide pigmented lips.

Texture and Quality:
It is very smooth in texture and glides easily on the lips. It feels comfortable, buttery soft, and even quite slippery on the lips. It is a lightweight non-sticky balm that looks perfect. It gives a nice tint to my lips. It gives a healthy glow to my lips. This lip balm has a yummy smell of strawberries but I can smell something else too. Overall, it’s a very nice smell. Such berry fragrances are quite dear to me.

This smooth and creamy formula instantly provides soft, smooth and hydrated lips. It heals my dry lips and makes them soft and healthy. It heals chapped lips too and provides a great relief to them. This balm doesn’t have any noticeable color, still the color doesn’t settle into the fine lines or crease at all. Being a lip balm it does transfer but never fully vanishes from the lips.

Staying Power:
The lip balm stays for around 4-5 hours. It can’t survive a meal properly but it can nicely survive normal snacks. But it doesn’t have any SPF. These days most of the lip balms come with SPF and we can expect SPF for this price. Otherwise, I really love this smooth and hydrating lip balm. Wish it provided better pigmentation, though.
