If you know me at all, you would know how much I love my body scrubs. I own a legit collection of body scrubs, and I have used a lot of scrubs ranging from homemade to high-end ones. After reading Rashmita’s awesome reviews, I wanted to give this brand a try, so bought a few products. Let’s see how the first product, this AOC Olive Oil Body Exfoliant, worked for me and if its cute packaging managed to win my heart.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Olive Oil Body Exfoliant:
To be honest, I bought this scrub just for its cute packaging. I mean, just how cute is it! Even though this concept looks so unique, this is not the most practical packaging to be used in the bathroom. It is quite difficult to open this clasp with wet hands. Anyway, it comes with a protective lid too, which is nastier. It just doesn’t come off easily. You can, of course, throw it away if you want, but I prefer to keep it since this is a tub packaging. Once closed, the product cannot come out through the mouth of the jar (own its own) since the tub becomes air-tight. So, overall, even though the packaging is cute, travel-friendly and safe, it’s a bit inconvenient.
The consistency appears to be gel-like but this is not a gel-based scrub. In fact, it almost becomes creamy once you start to massage on your skin. It is an easy-to-use, no-nonsense product. You can massage it easily and wash it off easily too. The scrubbing particles are of good size and they exfoliate well; they do not disappear immediately after application, so you get ample time to scrub your skin. Also, these particles are not harsh on the skin, even if you use the scrub on dry skin. I can say this scrub will suit all skin types – even those with sensitive skin can use it without any issue.
Since the product spreads well and has plenty of particles, a lot of product isn’t required at once. The scrub smells very lovely – the fragrance reminds me of aloe vera and olives for sure. Also, the fragrance stays on my body for some time, but only if I apply a non-fragranced body lotion afterwards. It stays for hours on me. I think you can already tell by now that I love this body scrub. Since the scrubbing particles are of the right size, the skin gets easily and perfectly exfoliated. As soon as I wash the product off, a softer, smoother and more radiant skin is revealed. There is no dryness. In fact, my skin feels and remains well moisturised. The effects too last for days. This exfoliator has definitely improved my skin and has made it better. I have been using it for some time and I feel that it can control the appearance of ingrown hair too.
I am really enjoying this wonderful body exfoliant and it is one of the best ones in the market. If you are bored of your regular TBS scrubs, you may give this one a try. It does everything it claims. The packaging seems like an issue, but if you can overlook this factor, this is one amazing scrub that offers very good value for money.
