My Experience with Yves Rocher Raspberry Peppermint Bath Shower gel:
The shower gel has a majority of components from plant extract, making it a botanical product. Please note it is not organic. They also test on animals.The shower gel comes in a small round plastic container with a flap lid. The packaging is very sturdy. The flap lid sometimes gets little difficult to open as its little tight and also gets little tricky to open with wet hands. It can easily damage the nails. So, I make sure not to use the nails to open it, i mostly use my teeth. But its travel safe since there is no chance that the flap would open up automatically. The bottle is also transparent, making it easy to know the amount of product left during the usage. The packaging is sturdy and stands looking pretty on the bathroom counter.
The consistency of the product is viscous but not water like but a little thicker. It is red in color. I use twice the walnut size for my entire body. The shower gel spreads very easily on the skin and also creates a good amount of lather. The skin feels smooth and clean after the shower. The product does not leave the skin dry. As a matter of fact, my skin feels nourished after using it.The fragrance is the best part. I am a big raspberry fan and the gel smells just like the berries. The mint effect could not be seen or smell it. I would suggest this for summer months since it smells so fresh.
The fragrance lasts for few hours after wash. I would recommend to use the same body lotion so that the fragrance doesn’t interfere with other products.The shower gel did not cause any kind of irritation to the skin. Overall it’s a very nice product and I love it. Honestly I was expecting some kind of cooling effect when used, since it has mint in it. But unfortunately I could not sense it in any way..
