I hope everyone is enjoying the sunny-sunny weather as summers have turned up, well as usual Mumbai is hot and humid and dealing with the daily humidity, dirt, sweat and dehydration is seriously a hectic task for all the Mumbaikars! Anyways I am here with a face wash today from Yves Rocher which has given my skin some relief from the daily sweat and oil. Today I will be reviewing my new found love i.e. Yves Rocher Sebo Specific gentle exfoliating cleanser. Let me start with the review.
500 INR for 150 ml
Plastic conical flask shaped bottle with silver plastic screw cap.
My Experience with Yves Rocher Sebo Specific Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser:
Packaging: The cleanser comes in a nice sturdy plastic conical flask shaped bottle. The bottle has medium wide mouth opening and has a plastic screw cap. The bottle is light weight, leak-proof and extremely travel-friendly.
Consistency and smell: The cleanser is a green gel that has minute grains suspended within; the consistency is comparable to that of freshly extracted aloe vera gel. It smells that of fresh moist grass and whenever I close my eyes and wash my face I feel as if I am standing in a farm full of fresh grass and it’s raining, I love this cleanser for its consistency and fragrance.
Results: I have combination-dry skin type; with only my T-zone turning oily in summers. This cleanser though meant for combination-oily skin types does not strip the moisture from my skin. The minute granules are ultra-mild on my skin and do not irritate my skin, but they do clean my pores and tighten them. The thing which I love about this cleanser is it controls the oil production on my T-zone area for complete 24 hours and at the same time keeps my dry areas well hydrated! It is unbelievable that a cleanser actually behaves differently in two different areas of my face in such an exceptional manner. In addition to this, the cleanser also manages to reduce pimples, blackheads and small zits. Wait the story does not end here, the cleanser not only deals with all these imperfections, but also reveals a brighter radiant skin on each use. My skin looks noticeably clear, brighter and oil free. This is an ideal pick for summers!
