My Experience with Yves Rocher Verbena Leaves Shower Gel:

This shower gel comes in a transparent bottle similar to the other ones from the range. The shower gel comes unsealed with a silver cap. I would suggest you to use the screw cap over flip cap any day. The flip cap is very tight and it is hard on my nails too. The sleekness and the leakage-free factor make this shower gel travel friendly.

This shower gel is almost transparent and has a gel-like consistency. It is a bit runny. The fragrance of this gel is like crushed lemon leaves. It smells less citrusy, it’s “leafier!” I ordered the products online and I thought the presence of lemon leaves would be very fresh, but unfortunately, I am not a fan of this smell. There is a body lotion and EDT too in this range, but I am not sure if someone would take a liking to such a leafy fragrance.

The shower gel lathers well with a loofah. Without one, the lathering effect is okay! Once rinsed of,  it leaves a thin film of layer on the skin. The product luckily doesn’t dry out my skin immediately and I can go on for 15-20 minutes without any body lotion. However, doesn’t eliminate dryness and you feel the stretchy, dry effect after some time. I have very dry skin, probably for normal skin, you can go on longer without a lotion. The presence of aloe vera makes my skin soft and smooth.

It leaves a cooling sensation behind, which I love. This makes it suitable to use during super sunny summer! The scent present in the shower gel is an essence of the perfume and is not natural. The aloe they claim is organically cultivated. Due to the presence of aloe, the shower gel is also a good remedy to use after being under the sun. The refreshing properties are a huge plus, but along with that, the shower gel soothes the skin and doesn’t cause any irritation.

The shower gel is a good cleansing product for your body, but if you ask me, it’s not a must buy, you can give it a pass. The reason being, the shower gel is not unique and it works in a similar way to other regular shower gels that are available in the market. similar to the normal shower gels available at a lesser price.
