My Take on Za True White Day Protector with SPF 26 PA++:

My cousin was returning from Singapore and I had given her a looongg list of the things she MUST get for me :P, but in my package, I saw this cream which I had not mentioned in my list.  My cousin told me that she saw a lot of girls picking up this stuff (in bulk :P), so she thought she should get one for me.

I googled to check its whereabouts and learned that it’s a favoured/sought-after drugstore brand in Asian countries.  When I typed Za + Day Protector, I got tons of reviews on this particular product.

You can check their official website here.

The Za Day Protector is lightweight, absorbs easily in my skin and doesn’t give any sticky/greasy feel. Its consistency is between a lotion and cream, neither too thick nor too runny. It has a mild/barely there fragrance which is difficult to identify.

I have used this as a moisturiser for 2-3 days, but I noticed that is wasn’t doing a good job as it hardly hydrates/nourishes the skin, but that makes it safe for oily-skinned beauties. It can be used as a sunscreen but cannot replace a moisturiser in your regime.

It leaves behind a whitish cast, so I guess it may not impress some of you. I use it during the day, under my foundation a lot of times and I notice that it gives a bonny, pearly sheen to the face (and this has no shimmer).

I have been using this on and off since the past few months (occasionally), and I like it for the way it adds some glow, gives that brightening effect. I have not used it religiously on a daily basis, so I cannot comment whether it has any groundbreaking effects or can improve skin tone. It suits my sensitive-acne-prone skin, so I have no qualms at all.
If I get a chance, I may get another one of this oh and a BB cream too.

What I Like about Za True White Day Protector with SPF 26 PA++:

  • Has SPF 25.
  • Lightweight formula.
  • Absorbs easily into the skin.
  • Gives an instant brightening effect and a glow to the face.
  • Mild fragrance.
  • Sleek, tube type packaging.
  • Suits oily and sensitive skin.
  • Does not clog pores or cause breakouts.

What I Didn’t Like About Za True White Day Protector:

  • Has no nourishing/hydrating properties.
  • Not available easily in India.
  • Some of us don’t like creams which leave behind a whitish cast.
  • Contains parabens.
  • Slightly overpriced for the quantity and being a drugstore brand.
